Cabin Life

As a vacation rental, our place is doing well. It's been a busy end of year here at the cabin, and we are grateful.

After a trip home, we are back to routine. Life here is slower paced, quiet, and feels disconnected from the rest of the world. Our mornings begin early, with coffee of course, we are in the best coffee region! Birds of all kinds wake us with their songs, and we get a fresh new mountain view each day. We take a walk around the yard checking on our plants, flowers and bananas (they are taking a long time to ripen!).

Maintaining the place is enjoyable. The area is beautiful. The people we meet are kind and friendly. We've been getting to know our town a little better: where to eat, walk, buy things, pay bills etc. It is a safe, peaceful and charming little place.

The end of the day comes early as it gets dark here around 6:30pm. On weekends the town fills up with visitors and you can usually also find us grabbing a meal at our favourite pupusa place. Over all, we are settling in to cabin life here in Los Naranjos.
